OUR PASTORS
Jeff & Carolyn
Founding and Senior Pastors
Jeff and Carolyn are both local to the Northern Rivers region. They pursued tertiary studies in Education and Visual Arts at the University of Southern Queensland.
In the early 80’s they helped to pioneer a Christian school in Toowoomba with Jeff serving as Principal for five years. In 1984 they also completed Bible College in Vancouver Canada. During the early 90’s Jeff moved from Education to full time Pastoral work where he served for 10 years.
In 2001 they returned to the Northern Rivers to start C3 Ballina and in 2014 they also took responsibility for C3 Byron Bay, with C3 Yamba launched in 2018.
Jeff and Carolyn have much experience in helping people to connect with Jesus and to become devoted followers as well. They have a huge love and understanding for this region and the people of the Northern Rivers.
Understanding why Baptism in Water is so Important
Why be baptised in water? Does it really make any difference to my life and faith? What if I was sprinkled in a traditional church as a baby, or even baptised as a child?
What if I feel shy and don’t want to do this publicly, instead couldn’t I have just a couple of friends in a private home?
Who should baptise me and when should it happen?

CONNECTING PEOPLE TO GOD
The centre of who we are and what we do is faith, hope and love. It’s super simple… We have faith in a God who is close to us, always. We have hope that no matter how messed up things get, our God will work everything out for good. And we have a love that comes from God, enabling us to love each other as a community.
Our goal is to support people from all walks of life to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Our services are Bible-based and Holy Spirit empowered with dynamic messages and powerful worship.
We hope that you will find life, community and friendship at your local C3. We meet for Church services, connect groups, prayer meetings, life courses and outreaches across the Northern Rivers.
